SHE-JJ Christmas gathering yesterday!! =)

Maybe I'm biased but the food was extremely delicious! Though fortunately or unfortunately we had lots of food leftover. ^^ After watching the movie 10 promises to my dog, we had a Christmas gift exchange, and it was cool in the sense that, as Hui Li noticed:

Simin got EnQi's present, EnQi got Joanne's present, Joanne got my present, I got Hui Li's present and Hui Li got Simin's present! It's a circle!! =)

Random oops but yeah had a great time! =)

hey, here's the final menu:

starters: mini chive pancakes with sour cream and smoked salmon

main course: citrus chicken & i'll try to do sm's baked ham or tjy's butter fried fish if ther's enuf cash ( btw i'll pay 1st)

side dishes: cream of mushroom, potato salad ( if ther's more than enuf potatoes i'll bake some with vege -- if gt enuf $$)

dessert: cheese flan ( sorry girls, i'll have to tie this in with sm's cheesecake cuz it's easier to do. and i either dont have the recipe for the other dessert you come up with or i cannot bake cookies. i suck at it.)

For the choice of menu!

Starters: mini chive pancakes with sour cream and smoked salmon. Just because there's sour cream and I personally like sour cream and onion chips. ^^

Main course: ANYTHING. Citrus chicken or butter fried fish fillet are okay...

Side dish: Potato salad!

Dessert: Milk chocolate tart? ^^

I think christmas exchange will be fine? (AHH omg need to start worrying about what to get le~) and regarding showering, I think perhaps I shower before going over bah. ^.^

Please remind me to bring the Land of the Blindfolded to return! ^^

And Simin if you are seeing this I still haven't asked regarding the new year sleepover oops but my sister sounds like she wants to cope me for herself so I'm not sure. ._.

i dun mind bathing at your hse, like that maybe go home dun nid bathe liao, hehs. see first, think i'll jus bring clothes, then decide whether i want to bathe when i'm there? hehs.
present x-chge as in each buy one, then randomly pick? if so, i think this is ok.
and, ok, hope i rmb to bring containers, hahs.
since enqi think the budget is tight, then maybe we shuld really forget bout the family part. but if got xtra, think it's still ok to share with family. :))

PS. I think this is only the second time since I've posted here HAHA. Anyway, here are my preferences for Christmas~

STARTERS:

Mini chive pancakes with sour cream and smoked salmon

MAIN:

CHICKEN or BEEF (may be too expensive) wellingtons (Since we don't have a turkey awww) or citrus chicken

SIDE DISHES:

Crispy royal blue potatoes (Doesn't look blue or crispy to me on Google heh)

Roast vegetables

Cream of mushroom soup (Can we do 2 side dishes so it's either soup + roast vegetables or soup + potatoes for me)

DESSERT:

Can we have asparagus flan? Sounds nicer than cheese heh :P

1. Do I need/want to shower? Nahhh. But if I'm stinky, maybe I will <:

3. Do I want to make food for my family? Erm I don't think so since our budget should be quite tight. And $20+ sounds a lot already to me O: Anyway, we can just make extra gingerbread man or dessert as you said which will be enough (:

4. Am I free to go grocery shopping with you? Sadly, not. Training's going to make me exhausted so I can't wake up early on saturdays ): And even if I do, I wake up to watch Pokemon LOL. My sincerest apologies! ><
